Animalintex Poultice

Animalintex Poultice is a versatile horse healthcare product. Animalintex is a poultice dressing for use on horses and dogs to treat infected and open wounds, cracked heels, mud fever, puncture wounds, laminitis, thrush, seedy toe, capped hocks and elbows, splints and sore shins.

The dressing also relieves sprains and bruises and helps prevent inflammation, and can be applied as a hot or cold dressing depnding on the situation.

If used as a dry dressing, Animalintex can be used numerous times with the same effectiveness.

CAL-PLUS

CAL-PLUS is a concentrated source of essential nutrients necessary to promote the development and maintenance of strong muscle and bone structure and to prevent bone and joint weakness or breakdown in performance horses.

It contains three different forms of calcium to optimise absorption. It´s much more than just a calcium supplement - it contains trace minerals and vitamins A & D which are essential for calcium uptake and bone strengthening. A daily dose of Cal-Plus will help balance the Calcium: Phosphorus ratio in the diets of all horses.

Each 60g dose of Cal-Plus contains:
- Macrominerals
- Calcium 20.1g
- Phosphorus 2.5g

Dermcusal

Dermcusal is topical liniment suitable for the treatment of shin soreness, tendon and ligament strains and sprains, splints, ringbone, back problems and other musculoskeletal injuries.

It will help to reduce pain, inflammation and swelling. It is rapidly absorbed into the body through painting on the skin, and will assist the body's own natural anti-inflammatory processes.

Elastoplast's conforming bandage is an ideal dressing for high body movement areas. It can stretch from 2.5m to 4.5m as the joints move.

It is designed for prolonged use and comes in three widths - 5cm, 7.5cm and 10cm

Equivit Bone Food

Equivit Bone Food is a balanced calcium, phosphorus and magnesium supplement to aid in bone protection.

EQUIVIT Bone Food supplies sufficient minerals to balance a horse's diet and protect bone strength. Horses need calcium, phosphorus and magnesium in the correct balances and volumes to produce and maintain strong bones. Calcium, phosphorus and magnesium are the main components of bone.

Low dietary calcium and phosphorus can lead to weakened bones in horses, especially performance horses and growing horses.

Many horses' diets are deficient in calcium, phosphorus and magnesium. Horses fed high grain and cereal chaff diets are usually deficient in calcium.

Phosphorus availability is very low in many feeds and excessive calcium levels in feed such as lucerne can further reduce availability.

Equivit Preserve

Equivit Preserve contains a mix of vitamin E, vitamin C, selenium and magnesium to help reduce muscle damage in working horses and to help prevent tying up.

Preserve will also help maintain immunity against disease. Equivit Preserve contains higher levels of these ingredients than are contained in most general vitamin and mineral supplements. It also contains additional vitamin C, selenium and magnesium to provide advantages over supplements which only contain Vitamin E.

Give horses 30g a day and mix well with feed. During recovery from tying up give 30g twice a day.

ExiFLAM, containing Dimethyl Sulfoxide (D.M.S.O.), acts as an anti-inflammatory and analgesic (pain reliever). Because of its unique ability to pass through the skin, it is absorbed rapidly helping horses to return to full fitness quicker.

ExiFLAM is in a unique gel form to minimise its evaporation from the skin surface. In doing so this greatly enhances its activity and inflammation reducing properties. The gel form makes it easier to apply because you can see exactly how much you are using, which minimizes waste.

Because of its rapid penetration, ExiFLAM does not need vigorous rubbing or massaging into the injured area, causing your horse minimal stress.

LoosenUP

LoosenUP helps treat and prevent tying up and muscle damage in horses.

Symptoms of tying up range from mild hind limb stiffness, pain and sweating to a total reluctance to move, and if left untreated, can result in severe damage to muscle cells.

The organic chromium in LoosenUP has been shown to reduce cortisol levels, which tests have shown is one of the main causes of tying up.

LoosenUP's combination of specific vitamins and minerals further assists in reducing the incidence of tying up, whilst also helping prevent muscle fatigue, as caused by lactic acid build up.

These other specific vitamins and minerals include Vitamin E and Selenium (to repair and prevent muscle damage), Magnesium (to help prevent cramping) and Vitamin C (required when stress occurs).
